Palmyrah Development Board produces a variety of edible and non-edible Palmyrah based products.
Edible products are mainly from the fruit and other items of Palmyrah tree are utilized for the non-edible products and
for the production of Beverage.

Sectoral Development
1. Production and Marketing complex was opened:
In order to give a big flat form for the production and the
marketing of Palmyrah products, production unit and marketing units were
coordinated and a production and marketing complex unit was opened to function as an independent functional unit.
2. Training on packaging at SMAK company
Training was arranged and staffs from production division
participated.
3. Introduced New technology Packaging system for Palmyrah Fruit Drink.
4. Training on food processing.
Training on food processing and preparing new food products
such as Palmyrah Glucorasa, Palmyrah Mash mellow and etc. was arranged and
certificates were given to the producers.
5. Opening of Karainagar Industrial Complex Production
center.
