PDB not only markets its own products but also purchases items from producers and sell through its fifteen nos. of sales outlets named as “Katpaham” functioning in Jaffna, Colombo, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Kalmunai, Vavuniya, Puttlam, Hambantota and Mannar.

Ministry of Rehabilitation, Resettlement, Northern Development and Hindu Religious Affairs, an Exhibition and Sale of Products produced by the beneficiaries of the REPPIA under the Self-Employment Loan Scheme for Resettled Families and Society Reintegrated Trainees will be held commencing from 25th May 2018 at SANGILIAN THOPPU Nallur, Jaffna.

This event was inaugurated by the Hon. D.M. Swaminathan, Minister of Rehabilitation, Resettlement, Northern Development and Hindu Religious Affair with the participation of Eng. (Dr.) Ponniah Suresh, Secretary of the Rehabilitation, Resettlement, Northern Development and Hindu Religious Affair.

Palmyrah Development Board marketing division also participated and exhibits its products in this Exhibition Sale as well.

New Katpaham Marketing Sales Center has been opened by the PDB General Manager, Marketing Manager and Internal Auditor at Kataragama, one of the sacred places to expand the marketing activities of the Board. The function was attended by Hambantota District Manager, Marketing Division and Hambantota District Staffs.

Gondolas and cash machine were fixed in Katpaham sales outlets to regularize the sales activities.
