The official duties of the Palmyrah Development Board for the year 2026 commenced on 01st of January 2026, the first day of the New Year. The inaugural ceremony was held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board, Mr. R. Raveenthiran.
The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, a two-minute silence was observed in remembrance, and the proceedings continued with the administration of the oath, marking the formal commencement of duties for the year 2026.
Senior officials, staff members, and employees of the Palmyrah Development Board participated in the event, contributing to its successful and dignified conduct.
