A discussion seminar on research and extension related to Palmyrah, Coconut, Kithul, and Minor Plantation Crops was held today (04.11.2025) at the National Institute of Plantations Management, Colombo.
The event was graced by Hon. Deputy Minister Sundaralingam Pradeep, and attended by Mr. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Secretary to the Ministry, and other senior officials of the Ministry.
The Chairman of the Palmyrah Development Board, Mr. R. Raveenthiran, along with officers from the Palmyrah Research Institute and Extension Division staff of the Board, also participated in the seminar.
