The grand World Entrepreneurs’ Day and Trade Exhibition was held on the 25th and 26th of August 2025 (Monday and Tuesday) at the main campus of the University of Vavuniya (Pambaimadu), from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on both days.
This event served as an excellent platform for existing entrepreneurs, aspiring business starters, school students, school dropouts, university students, and all those interested in entrepreneurship.
The special guests who graced the occasion included:
- Dr. N. Anandarajah, Professor, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, India
- Hon. Mr. Nagalingam Vethanayagam, Governor of the Northern Province
- Leading entrepreneurs, business professionals, sponsors, stakeholders, multinational companies, and heads of government and non-government institutions, along with achievers in the field of entrepreneurship.
Also, present were Mr. R. Raveenthiran, Chairman of the Palmyrah Development Board, Dr. B. Sudhakaran, Marketing Manager of the Board, Mr. N. Baskaran, Vavuniya Regional Coordinator of the Board, as well as the district staff and employees.
