The “Katpaham” Sales Center for Palmyrah-based products in the Mannar District was declared open today (21.09.2025) on Mannar Main Street.
The event was graced by the Deputy Minister, Mr. Sundaralingam Pradeep, as the Chief Guest. He was joined by the Deputy Minister of Industries, Mr. Mahinda Jayasinghe, the Coordinating Secretary to the Deputy Minister, Mr. Vasanthamurthy, the Chairman of the Palmyrah Development Board, Mr. Raveenthiran, the Deputy General Manager of the Board Mr. S. Srivijeindran, the Marketing Manager Dr. B. Suthaharan, and the Mannar District Coordinator Mr. Benildus Peiris, along with several others.
